Stearic acid

特性：硬脂酸即十八烷酸，不含不饱和键的脂肪酸，由油脂水解产生。白色或微黄色结晶粉末，融化后成透明状液体。

用途：主要用于制造各种硬脂酸盐类、橡胶助剂等。在橡胶的合成和加工过程中起重要作用，是天然胶、合成橡胶和胶乳中广泛应用的硫化活性剂，也可用作增塑剂和软化剂。在生产合成橡胶过程中需加硬脂酸作乳化剂，在制造泡沫橡胶时，硬脂酸可作起泡剂，硬脂酸还可用作橡胶制品的脱模剂。
